Drawing Basic Structure:
To Draw an among us character, it is quite simple you just have to draw an ‘A’ letter first.
This is the basic shape for all the among us characters or the imposters.
Define the shape:
Now after we drew the basic shape it’s time to define the shape of this character, So it can look like an among us character.
We have drawn the character sunglasses and the backpack, just two oval circles, and you are done 🙂 Easy right?
Outline or Contour Drawing
Yeahhhh! Our among us character is super ready Just in 2 steps.
In this step, you can also add other elements to it like the hat or some props that were worn by the game characters.
Now choose your favorite color of the character so we can add that color to it. My favorite color is red.
Adding 1st layer of color:
We will divide the coloring into two steps to make it exactly like among us game characters.
The first layer of your favorite color would be flat and single-tone.
Don’t use any darker colors because we have to use dark colors for the second layer where we draw the shadows.
Adding 2nd layer of color:
Now we will add a second layer for the coloring process.
To show the shadows we have to add a dark color on top of the lighter color.
You have to add the second layer on the exact position as per the image to make it look like the game character.
While choosing a dark color, only choose the darker shade of the light shade you have chosen like:
Green – Dark green
Red – Dark red or brown
yellow – light brown
sky blue – blue
orange – brown
Don’t choose Black as a dark color(for the 2nd layer) because black will not look like a shadow on the character, But it will completely ruin your drawing.

Among Us Character in 3D
Just for fun, I have drawn the among us character in 3D.
It is just by using a dark middle and light tone to create the 3D effect and then adding the highlights with the white.
